Delicious ! Service was fast and the food was delicious. We ordered the sauerkraut fish with two free add ons (tofu skin and glass noodles) and additional bamboo for a few dollars. The portion was labeled for two but it was enough for 3 people. Rice goes very well with this dish and the soup is the perfect amount of spicy and numbing. We got a jelly dessert to end our meal on a cool sweet note. It's in the outdoor portion of the mall and parking is available outdoors or in a structure. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Hot water and ice water is self serve if needed. Napkins, extra chopsticks, and other amenities are available in the drawer under the table.

We came on Saturday around 1pm and were able to get a seat outside right away. I really liked the hot tea they served since it was a little sweet - perfect for all the heat we had to deal with from the dishes. Service was fast but you order everything through a QR code. We got the sauerkraut fish which was fantastic. It does have a lot of tang and spice so be warned!! We opted for the wide glass noodles but they were a little chewy so I'll go with vermicelli noodles next time. The dumplings had a sweeter sesame sauce over it which was a nice change of pace for our mouths. The dandan was mediocre - not much flavor compared to the sauerkraut fish and just greasy from the oil. Overall, I would come again for their signature dish.

Tai Er Sichuan Cuisine is located in The Shops Santa Anita Promenade. Once you're seated, you scan the QR code located on the table to place your order from your phone. However, my connection was stalling and I had to wave down a server to take down my order. Staff/customer service was great and the food was very, very good. Fried Rice dish could easily feed a family of 4. I also enjoyed their garlic shrimp vermicelli which is more of an appetizer. The establishment is clean and open.

We ate here for a quick lunch and I was trying to brave the Sichuan! I love that they had a kid's meal so the kids can also have something that won't be burning their mouths as the adults eat. Anyways, we were looking over the menu and one of the waiter came out and asked if we wanted to eat there. So we gave it a try. Why not? The waiter had some confusion at first as to where to seat us lol he initially told us outside then inside but then the inside table was reserved, so outside it is! Lol after we were settled, high chair and utensils were brought out, and orders for beverages were taken. We got the hot teas and a cold water. The tea that they serve was so delicious. It has some orange peel and some berries, it was very fragrant! The food were delicious. There wasn't a single item that was disappointing. My only opinion would be to have the kids meal to be ready first. Our kid's meal were the last one to come out, after all the dishes were out and we had to ask for it. As you know, kids take longer to eat and they have their own preferences so having a hungry kid and a spicy menu didn't really work until some of the non spicy dish came out, and of course the kid's meal. My favorite was the tan tan mien, I'm still learning to enjoy the Sichuan style dish but at level 1, the numbing is minimal and I can still enjoy the noodles and the beef. The beef is a must with a nice warm bowl of rice and it's great for sharing! I love the fried pork as well, it's a great appetizer. Overall it was a good experience. We'd come back again for the other items on the menu!

TaiEr serves authentic Sichuan Cuisine and I admit I felt intimidated but that $10 voucher from Cha Refine helped me decide why not. This place is knows for their Sichuan Sauerkraut Fish Soup that's literally called TaiEr. I tried it the non spicy one and loved it. The fresh pieces of white fish and the tang from the pickled mustard greens made for a great combination. I also ordered their Braised Pork Belly, Crispy Sweet and Sour Kung Pao Chicken, Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Sesame Pork Dumplings and their Mixed Appetizer Plate with Chicken Wings. Oh yeah their fried rice cakes were to die for! TaiEr restaurant is so modern and cool! Visual Review: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBWlC1CPx7J/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
